WordPress & CMS Development in Qatar

WordPress & CMS

Many Qatar teams have a website they cannot update without calling a developer, or an Arabic version that breaks every time someone edits it. We build websites on WordPress, move existing sites onto it, set up editing in Arabic and English, and keep it updated and backed up. Your team gets a content system it can run day to day.

  • Edit pages without a developer
  • English and Arabic pages linked
  • Updates made safely
  • Backups you can restore

WordPress work we do

Most WordPress projects fall into one of four kinds. The proposal states which work is included and what is left out.

New build

A new WordPress website built around your pages

Migration

Your current site moved onto WordPress with care

Bilingual setup

English and Arabic pages linked and easy to edit

Maintenance

Updates, backups and checks on a regular routine

What a well-set-up CMS lets your team do

A content system is only useful if your team can run it without help. These are seven things your team should be able to do on its own.
Each one is shown in training.

How a WordPress project runs

Our working hours overlap with Qatar for most of the day from Monday to Thursday. Meetings happen by video call, and every stage ends with your approval.
Nothing goes live until you approve the test site.

STEP 01. Review of the current setup

As part of the agreed scope, we review your current site, theme, plugins and hosting, and note what can stay and what should change. You approve the findings before planning.

STEP 02. Plan the setup

We plan the theme, plugins, page layouts and user roles, and how the English and Arabic pages will be linked. You approve the plan before any building or migration starts.

STEP 03. Build or migrate on a test site

We build the new site or move the current one onto a test copy, never directly on the live site. You can open the test site and follow progress at any time.

STEP 04. Content and redirects checked

We check that every page, image and form came across in both languages, and set redirects so old addresses still lead to the right pages after the switch.

STEP 05. Training for your team

We show your editors how to update pages, add news, manage both languages and restore a backup, so they can run the site on their own before it goes live.

STEP 06. Go live and maintenance

We move the site live and check it again. The proposal states the support included after launch, and any maintenance plan is quoted separately if you want it.

Signs your CMS is holding you back

Three common problems with content systems, and how each one is fixed.

Every change needs a developer

Small edits wait for days.

  • Sign: slow content updates
  • Common cause: layouts written in code
  • What we do: editable page blocks

Arabic editing breaks layout

Pages shift when edited in Arabic.

  • Sign: broken Arabic pages
  • Common cause: no right-to-left setup
  • What we do: an RTL editing setup

Updates break the site

Each update brings new errors.

  • Sign: errors after updates
  • Common cause: plugins never managed
  • What we do: a regular update routine

What you control

It should be clear from day one what belongs to you. The proposal states who owns the site, the content and the accounts.

The site and its content are handed over in your name.

  • Admin access to WordPress in your name
  • Domain and hosting owned by you
  • Our accounts set as separate users
  • You can remove our access anytime

  • Paid plugins listed in the proposal
  • Licence holder stated for each
  • Renewal dates shared in writing
  • Every other plugin named at handover

  • Training scope set in the proposal
  • Short guides for common edits
  • Support period stated in writing
  • Questions answered by email or call

What to prepare

A WordPress project goes faster when we know how your site is used today. Gather what you can, and anything missing becomes a question in our reply.

  • Access: admin access to your current website and hosting, if you have it.
  • Pages and editors: a list of the main pages and who updates each one.
  • Languages: which pages need English, Arabic or both.
  • Plugins: any plugins or features your team relies on every day.
  • Fixed addresses: any page addresses that must not change.

Not sure what your site runs on? Send the address and we will check it for you.

Who needs frequent content updates

Some businesses change their content every week, and a good content system saves them the most time. These are examples, not a list of our Qatar clients.

Schools and training: courses and dates

Clinics: doctors, services and hours

Real estate: listings added every week

News and media: articles every day

Associations: events and announcements

Large companies: many departments

Hospitality: menus and seasonal offers

B2B suppliers: product catalogues

What does WordPress work cost?

WordPress quotes vary because sites, templates and plugins vary. The best way to compare them is to see what each one includes, and what you will pay every year after launch.

Three items to expect in a proposal:

  • Build or migration: a new site, or moving your current site onto WordPress.
  • Yearly costs: hosting, domain and any paid plugin licences, listed separately.
  • Maintenance: updates, backups and checks, quoted as a separate plan if you want one.

With your quote request, we confirm the templates, languages and plugins included.

New build or migration

Moving an existing site and building a new one are priced differently.

Templates and languages

More page templates and two languages mean more setup and testing.

Plugins and licences

Paid plugins add yearly licence costs, which the proposal lists.

Comparing two quotes

Check both cover the same templates, languages and yearly costs.

Tell us about your WordPress project

Use the quote form to tell us what your site runs on now and what you need, for example: our site runs on another builder, we have about 30 pages in English and Arabic, and our team wants to edit it without a developer. We reply with the questions we need answered before preparing a proposal.

WordPress, a website builder or custom code?

Hosted website builders are quick to start but can limit what you change and where you move later. Custom code fits systems with their own rules and data. WordPress sits between them: your team edits content on its own, the site can be moved to any host, and it handles English and Arabic well when set up properly.

When WordPress fits

  • Sites with many pages your team updates often
  • Websites that need English and Arabic
  • News, posts and announcements published often
  • A site you can move between hosts later
  • Not for systems with complex custom logic

WordPress and CMS FAQ

Short answers on security, Arabic editing, migration, plugins, licences, training and cost.

WordPress is as secure as its updates, plugins and hosting. We keep the core, theme and plugins updated and limit admin access, though no website can be promised to be fully safe.

Yes. We set up the editor so Arabic pages are written right to left and linked to their English versions, and we show your team how to edit both before launch.

We plan redirects so old addresses lead to the new pages, and move titles and descriptions across. This protects most of the value, though no one can guarantee rankings.

During the project, we do. After launch, your team can, or we can through a maintenance plan quoted separately. Either way, updates are tested before they reach the live site.

The proposal lists each paid plugin and whose name the licence is held in, along with its renewal date. Plugins without a licence are listed too, so you know what the site depends on.

Yes. Training covers editing pages, adding news, managing both languages and restoring a backup. The proposal states how many sessions and who attends them.

We set up regular backups stored away from the site, and test a restore before launch. How often backups run and how long they are kept is stated in the proposal.

Hosting is listed separately in the proposal. You can host with us through our web hosting service or keep your own provider, as long as it supports WordPress well.

Usually, yes. We review the theme, plugins and code first, then tell you what can be kept, what needs fixing and what it will cost, before any work starts.

It depends on whether it is a new build or a migration, the number of templates, the languages and the plugins. The proposal lists each item and the yearly costs.

No. We work with you by video call and email. Our working days overlap with Qatar for most of the day from Monday to Thursday.
